Build and own core components of Varick OS, the platform for spinning up, monitoring, optimizing, and deploying client agents. Build actual client agent implementations + manage deployment/ops. Design features at the product level while implementing on the backend. Ship into enterprise client environments, packaging, versioning across single-tenant deployments. High autonomy: identify problems and solve them independently. ThinkTeks (N+1 Talent) is filling this search. Applications are managed through Dilly.
What this role needs
- 3-5 years backend SWE (TypeScript + AI/agent systems)
- Built AI agents or LLM systems shipped to real users in production
- 2+ years at early-stage startup through growth phase
- Deployed containerized apps to client cloud (BYOC, single-tenant, on-prem)
- Kubernetes, cloud infra, containerized deployments
- Durable execution / workflow orchestration (Temporal)
