Warrior Earth is hiring a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a one-year 1099 contract in Geneva, OH. The role is hybrid: the first three months are fully onsite, then week-on / week-off. Compensation is $70 to $110 per hour, with direct-hire consideration at the end of the term. The work covers control-system and power-system design (VFDs, contactors, relays), electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, wire-harness development, 2D CAD (AutoCAD preferred), enclosure layouts with mechanical, BOMs in ERP (SAP preferred), component selection, and panel wiring. PCB and PCBA design in Altium is a plus, as is familiarity with RS232, RS422, RS485, CAN bus, and Ethernet. This is a hands-on senior design seat with real variety: testing, design, drafting, analysis, and prototyping, and a path to a direct-hire role at the end of the contract term.
